VIDEO HELP

INTERNET CONNECTION SPEED
Your Internet connection speed depends on whether you have a dial-up connection or broadband. The fastest dial-up modem connection is 56K , this is slow speed. If you have broadband you will probably have 128K, 500K, or higher and this means you have a high speed connection. The faster the speed the better the quality of streaming video or the faster the download speed will be. Close Help

CHOOSING WHICH SPEED TO USE
If you have a 56K dial up or 128K broadband, we suggest you use LOW SPEED. If after watching the video at low speed you would prefer to see it at higher quality, you could download the MPEG1 version by clicking your right mouse button over MPEG1 and select 'save target as' and save is to your hard drive, although this could take sometime with a 56K dial-up connection. A broadband connection of 500K or higher use HIGH SPEED or download the MPEG1 version. Close Help

MPEG1 VIDEO
MPEG1 video is a higher quality video which you can download and then run from your computer. There is no need to download extra plugins or codecs with opertaing systems greater than Windows 95 as the MPEG1 CODEC comes as standard with Windows operating systems. Close Help

STREAMING VIDEO
With streaming video (Windows Streaming Media) you can watch your video clip as it downloads. So, you don't have to wait for it to download before you can see it. This is a lower quality than MPEG1. This site uses Windows streaming media and the quality of the video depends on your internet connection speed. Close Help
